It’s Tuesday once again and it is time for another of AMY’S INKIN KREW BLOG HOP! This month the theme is LOVE. Love is many things. Love for your family, your friends, your pet, your self, your achievements and so much more.
Love is….
Once one told me that you can love a person, but you like a thing.
So you actually don’t love your job, but you might love the people around you at your job? Or do you like them too. I think it’s also different how we use the word love in different languages and cultures. In Denmark we would not often say that we love our colleagues, that would be too much. I think for most people it’s a strong word, that you keep to use for your husband, kids and close family. To spread love is something different. We all need to spread love around us and the more we do, we might be able to influence on much better life around us! How do you use the word “Love”?
The card made for today’s blog post, is made with embossing folder and designer series paper from the free products you can earn, when shopping in January and February. They are part of the Sale-a-Bration free products.
162889 Heartfelt Hexagon bundle, 162947 Softly Sophisticated Bundle, 162977 Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper,161718 Bubble Bath Card Stock, 147089 Garden Green Ink Pad, 161650 Boho Blue Ink Pad.
Description of card
The card is quite simple made with a minimum of stamping. For the card base is used a piece of Bubble bath cards stock measuring 8 1/2″x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″. A piece of the same card stock 5 1/2″x 4 1/4″ is embossed. On a scrap piece of white card stock is stamped a sentiment using Heartfelt Hexagon, with Boho Blue and it is punched out with the punch from the bundle. It is of course easy to change colours matching. It could be stamped with Memento Black, Bubble Bath or Garden Green too, but I think the blue is best. For the decoration of card I punched out a few labels from Flight & Airy DSP, using 2 different designs, one with a motive and the other with a plain colour. They were matched up on the card and glued directly on, aligned with the sentiment, that was adhered with StampinUp dimensional. For the inside a piece of white cards stock was stamped with a few stamps in Garden Green, also the envelope was decorated with a few stamps using the leaves from the stamp set. At the end add a few sequins if you like.

What a beautiful card, and a beautiful thought on ‘Love’. We in the US probably overuse it, but spreading love around is a good thing. Thank you for sharing your lovely design. Great use of that gorgeous DSP.
