February Paper Pumpkin – STAMPIN’UP

Today’s card is a mix of paper from Februarys Paper Pumpkin, some Sale-a-bration’s products, (that can be earn for Free! there is still one week left)and other dies, I had on hand.

I think it’s quite fun to mix with products that I have lying in my stash. It doesn’t need to only go with the stamp set, that it was originally hooked up with.

To use a bit of everything can be challenging, but as long as you stay in a colour frame and not mix too many different colours, that will do the trick.
Also just have options and try different stamps and dies, to see what works best.

So the best advice is to let the paper decide and as you can see, what colour you choose, will give very different outcome. The great thing with the Stampin’Up coordinating products, you can always find the right colour to match your paper. I tried here to pull out the green ( Lost Lagune) and the red (Berry Burst)

It’s possible to pull out one of all the colours in the paper, which is: Berry Burst, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock.

This is a pretty easy card, standing upright and a few layers, also very little stamping. But of course, if you don’t ad some designer paper to your envelope, its nice to give it a few stamps, so it all is matching.

The little extra could be embossing the base of the card. It’s not a must, just a lovely little extra touch. Colour the butterfly with your brush I a matching colour.

Make a serie of cards or just have fun to use what will match from your stash. I have used a different die to the sentiment and different embellishment for this one, as well as a different colour for the frame.
