Spring is Eggs and Bunnies

Today is the Blog Hop day with AMY’S INKIN KREW and our theme today is spring. We can do what we feel is spring in any way and I feel for eggs and bunnies.

So today’s card will showcase Stampin’Up stamps and dies from Excellent Eggs. Don’t we all think of spring as a new beginning? and as a positive thing? I for sure are looking forward to more light, more green and more fresh energy with the warm sun showing more.

For this card I found some cards and envelops I had in my stash. Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam Card & Envelopes, that is retied. I then started to work from the colours in this pack, Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam. I suggest replacing the card & envelopes with the Bright & Beautiful Memory & More Card & Envelopes.

I did very little stamping as for one eeg on White Card Stock with Memento Black and coloured it with Lost Lagune and Daffodil Delight. I did cut it out with my paper snips, you can use the dies also, but I like the more close cut. For the rest I used the dies and punch. For the bunny I took a piece from the now ended Sale-a-Bration DSP Sunny Days, my suggestion is to substitute this with Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper.

You can mix and match all between what you have for this card. I used a sentiment from another stamp set and after stamping it, I cut it in 2 with the wording I wanted.

When you have already a card base and matching envelope it is fairly quick and easy to put a card together. I did cut out 3 of the eggs to get the small pieces for the middle and then you can match them up for other eggs with the left over pieces.

Then it’s just to assemble everything, I did use a few dimensionals for the bunny to raise it up and a piece of tread to make the bow. Finally ad a few gems, but that is completely optional, it works also fine without. For all supplies used go to bottom of the page here to see more.
